“Thong Song” by Sisqo

Watch Mojo is wrong it was released as a single on February 15, 2000 the whole album “Unleash the Dragon” was released on December 31 1999. This is why it makes 1990s song lists. Even the Fine Brothers videos called it a 1990s song. (they did get the dates of the “Tragic Kingdom” singles wrong too. The album came out in 1995, but the singles were not released until 1996/1997 depending on the song) If you do your research using google instead of the wikipedia it tells you the song is from 1999. Supposedly this song helped increase the sale of thongs. There is also a very funny MadTV parody video for this song.

“Bye Bye Bye” by N’sync

And those puppet dolls you could buy of the members, and like everybody knew the dance.

“New America” by Bad Religion
A pretty cool music videos with dolls/action figures in it.

“Chemicals” by the Blue Meanies
This song is so much better than “Smash the Magnavox”. Released at the trail end of the 3rd wave ska movement you can really hear it. I like it. The music video is good too.
