I was gonna post this blog yesterday, but how often does a leap day come? Every 4 years. So I moved it to Sunday. No big deal. Right? Since the last time I posted about songs from the year 2000 was on a Saturday. I can afford to be inconsistent sometimes.

“The Real Slim Shady” by Eminem

“Everything you Want” by Vertical horizon

I’m cheating a little with this one. It’s a late 1999 entry. I briefly wrote about it here.

“One Step Closer” by Linkin Park

Linkin Park’s breakout debut hit single. If you are a certain age this was your introduction to Linkin Park.

“Wonderful” by Everclear

“Crazy for this Girl” by Evan and Jaron

“Judith” by A Perfect Circle

“Bohemian Like You” by The Dandy Warhols

I linked the censored version of the video. I forgot what a good song this was until I went through my old tapes with music videos on them.

“Pardon Me” by Incubus

Like “One Step Closer” this was my introduction song to Incubus. I know they had some other singles released before “Pardon Me”. I was not familiar with them.

“Sad Sweetheart of the Rodeo” by Harvey Danger
I just adore this song. When I was younger I liked it but didn’t get until I got older. This is the way I feel about my secret hobby. Just aimlessly going to school and working retail jobs. I don’t want to anything rodeo related though. I wanna be around those people even I can’t be in person and being around them online has in the eyes of my mother. Made me somewhat crazy or something like that. You know I can’t be around those people IRL; not yet anyway. Until I can drive to get to where they are.

“Optimistic” by Radiohead
This is my favorite Radiohead song ever. It hot some radio airplay, but never had an official music video. I like to listen to this song and the violently shake my head to it.
